In The Flame

Our wonderful friend and artist, Nur Felix, just released a new song and video to the world and we are here to give him a huge shout-out on this fabulous piece of music! Nur’s writing is always positive and hopeful, and In The Flame invites us all to leave our inhibitions behind us and get comfortable moving through the world in our best light. He says when we do this, life is ‘lekker’ – truly a South African word meaning, awesome, grande, and groovy – which we here at Moonlit Pond absolutely love.

We hope you enjoy this performance with ‘Felix & The Cats!’

We wish you all a LEKKER day!

Keepers of the Flight

Filmmaker and songwriter Nancy Beaudette has unveiled her new short documentary, Keepers of the Flight, a vivid and immersive look into the remarkable world of honey bees. Filmed while wearing a full beekeeper’s suit, Beaudette brought her camera along side an active hive, capturing rare close-up footage of the colony’s rhythm, resilience, and extraordinary cooperation. The film highlights the essential work of The Bee Lady, Lisa Gledhill, and her efforts to help hive owners maintain thriving colonies. Honey bees play vital role in sustaining our ecosystems. Keepers of the Flight offers audiences a fascinating, behind-the-veil glimpse into a world few ever see, one humming with purpose, beauty, and life.

Keepers of the Flight was an Official Selection at the 2025 Shirley Film Fest.

Marula – Video Release

I traveled to South Africa a few years ago, right in the middle of a terrible drought. Water rationing was imperative and prayers for rain were on everyone’s lips. I learned about the Marula Tree during my time on safari – not only does it survives drought, but also becomes a source of nourishment and medicine for animal and human alike. I hope you enjoy my newest production – “Marula”, as I try to capture the spirit of my journey through this beautiful country. (Marula features African artist – Spirit-T – please check out his amazing work!)(Also, big screen and headphones or stereo speakers recommended:)

Spirit-T Fabulous Artist

We recently had the amazing opportunity to work with Spirit-T, a recording artist from Cameroon, Africa. He was hired to add backup vocals to Nancy Beaudette’s – soon to be released – song, Marula. The Marula tree is a miraculous, drought resistant and healing tree that thrives in the southern part of the continent of Africa. Stay tuned for the video release, but in the meantime, we were so impressed with Spirit-T, we wanted to share him with you asap. Please subscribe and share his youtube channel to support his beautiful songs and spirit.

“Life is a Mantra” Video Release

In the stillness of Shiva’s cave, I sat in silence. It was very dark, just a single candle glowing on a stone altar adorned with a picture of his likeness, flowers, herbs and other such offerings. I waited and listened. And there it was, as if never lost or forgotten, shiny and new, from the deep place where spirit meets source – music. Song. My retreat partners, and the Children at Ramana’s Garden sing along with me in this video. We all hope you enjoy our song.

“Mountaintops and Oceans” Video and Single Release

Moonlit Pond Records is pleased to announce the release of “Mountaintops and Oceans” by Jan Blaising Music.

Jan’s new single, “Mountaintops and Oceans,” is a song Jan wrote to honor her Mom. The song tells the story of a woman who overcame significant obstacles in her early life through love and faith. It describes the ways Jan’s Mom brought gifts of grace and grandeur from her early home in Washington state to the Indiana plains, where she met and married a minister and raised a family. “Mountaintops and Oceans” is a timely song to honor mothers everywhere.

“Such a beautiful song ~ like a fresh mountain stream ~ and your voice and the production are impeccable!”

Jan Blaising – Video Release

We are pleased to share the release of MPR Artist, Jan Blaising‘s, lyric video release for the song, “It Wasn’t a Silent Night After All.”

Jan says, “The idea of the song is that when God chose to enter the world and become human, God didn’t choose perfect circumstances – so the song tries to capture the difficulty and the hardship of that holy night – because if God didn’t choose perfect circumstances when God came to earth, then that means God can enter into our imperfect circumstances too.”

Together with co-writer, Nancy Beaudette, the two crafted the idea into a song that retells the Christmas Story from a different vantage point. We hope you enjoy this fresh take on well known theme.
